Well another busy weekend...

I went to North Bay this weekend and got to see my Aunt Kim from Just Wordz selling some of her crafty stuff at the craft show. It was awesome to see the cards she did of mine, and let me tell you, the pictures really don't do them justice!!! They all look so good!

While I was in the Bay visiting, I brought my supplies and drew some rough concepts during the 4 hour car ride. I managed to pump out 4 drawings, and spent Saturday and Sunday cleaning up my American and Canadian version of "Welcome Home Soldier" Stamps. I just love these ones b/c it is the season to remember our veterans and our soldiers who are out there today fighting for freedom. A friend of mine lost her husband to the war a few years ago, and we almost lost a dear childhood American friend in the Pentagon during the 9/11 attacks; who was born and raised in Canada. So lets all remember the ones we love and show them that we appreciate them.

Thanks Alina! And Kim, I love these ones too - especially the coloured version! I hope to paint the Canadian one soon, but I might hold off. I think the Canadian one would look cool with red and pink camo pants and red shirt (might be too much red though)...oooh the possibilities!!!

Thank you Melissa! I am so happy you are able to join us! :) I will be doing a poll soon to find out what kinds of things you would like to see drawn for my shop. I clearly need as much advice as possible - LOL! :)
